Yes, while we can legally dispose of most types of waste, certain items cannot go in a skip and may require a surcharge. These include, but are not limited to:

Yes, if a skip needs to be placed on council property, you will need a skip permit, which we can organise for you. Please allow up to a few days for us to process this. If you need the skip urgently, please contact the office, and we’ll see if we can arrange a faster permit.
How long can I have the skip for?
You can keep the skip for a maximum of 43 days. If you need to extend the hire period, this can be arranged. Please call our team to make the necessary arrangements.
What is a wait and load?
A wait-and-go option is where you don’t need a council permission. You have the skip for a short time, and the driver waits with the skip. This can be done on your driveway or on the public area, without the need for a permit.
